TCM & DDC are back from their honeymoon

Thanks to a "megasuper sleepover" at Nana and Grandad DRs, TCM & DDC were able to steal themselves away to a honeymooners paradise for 12 sleeps .......

Firstly we had our jetlag smoothed away by a Balinese masseuse....

Then there were big decisions to be made every day.........

whether to sit by the beach....

or by the pool.....

Whether to go snorkelling.....

or windsurfing...... or sailing...

Whether to partake in excursions such as the seaplane flight?

Whether to dine inside or outside?

and what to eat from the buffet tables...

(TCM will be making a date with Jenny Craig on our return)

Whether to watch the sunrise or sunset.......



to drink at the iru bar or the sunset bar?

or merely dance on it?

And then all too soon.... honeymoon over....

back to reality.......

A few things always happen at the beginning of March....

It's the official end of summer (although Southland jumped the gun on that one some weeks ago)

DDC abandons us for his annual golfing bus trip.....

And Kate-e-pie has a birthday.....

Happy 3rd Birthday

Harricane was pleased that his tux got another airing

(although disappointed that martinis weren't on the drinks menu)

Kate's Mum out-sourced the cake preparation

This year's brief was a "butterfly cake" (please)

First there were the presents to unwrap - and construct

and play with...

Then it was time to light the candles....

Meanwhile, Harricane is still wrestling with his
