November with Harrisam

Now that we are home.......and the weather has improved, we are able to get out in the garden. It has even been warm enough to get out into the sandpit!

It's nice to be home, and away from all those noxious Australians
You never know what you'll find in your toilet!

Hey Margaret????????

Happy Birthday for the 3rd of November Kylie!
Dad chose the green icing and
we managed to track down some candles....

So what have we been up to since we got back from Australia?

Kylie and Sandy have both been able to get out to play some golf but they are not as talented as Uncle Ken
who got a hole-in-one at Pleasant Point yesterday.

Congratulations Ken!!!!!!

Sam and Harry have started at ABC for 2 days per week. Both have slotted back in like they were never away.

"Harricane" is walking and climbing and falling off things. This week's trick is to climb up on the dining room table and help read the newspaper.

Plans for December ....... Kylie wants some concrete edging to make mowing the lawns easier. Then he wants to get his lawn up to bowling green quality.
Sandy has a huge list of jobs that she wants Kylie to have completed by yesterday - the most outstanding one of which is getting that photograph up on the wall.

Harrisam gets home to Invercargill

Well, its nice to be home.............back to all the old familar things........
Earthquakes,
Gentle Zephyrs 120kph,
Freezing weather,
Nana and Grandad DR...

Socialising with old friends
And meeting new ones..........

Harrisam goes home to NZ

Well, sadly our Ozzie adventure is over.
We flew to Christchurch on October 11th in a little grey plane according to Samantha.
Here is a photo of Harry on the plane having his first ever chubbachub to help his ears "pop".

From the airport we picked up our rental car and stayed with Jenny and Nathan in their new house.

Thank you Nathan for rustling up that delicious coriander indian banquet. We're sorry it disagreed with your stomach lining.
Jenny - we seem to have misplaced that bottle of dutyfree port somewhere.........if you track it down, then Nathan might find it medicinal for his dodgey stomach......

We then drove down to Timaru to see uncle Nathan and auntie Lisa.
Sam was very excited to finally meet "Peas and Spuds"

Sam and Mum made a mudcake to celebrate Harry's first birthday.

And then Ailsa, Ken and Marcus came around to help sing "Happy Birthday. Thank you for the thoughtful present of socks - unfortunately Harry is not so familar with this item of clothing and likes to take them off at every opportunity.
