Harricane's letter to Nana Steph

Dear Nana Steph,

Settling in well here at the Bay

The weather is fantastic if somewhat

monotonous. "Warm and sunny" all week.

I've been keeping out of

trouble as much as I can....

but sometimes the

temptation is too great.

Last night The Catering Manager

(TCM) made us pizza which was very
yummy tho' I think that she hid
lots of veggies under the cheese.

My Fairisam hand-me-down shoes have nearly fallen apart so

TCM took me to The Big W

We have invested in a brand new pair of "Bob's"

aka Bob the Builder shoes.....they flash red & blue when I walk...

They flash really fast when I RUN.......

Harrisam arrives at the Bay.

Dear Nana and Grandad DR,

We hope you aren't missing us too much.

Have enclosed some photos of our new house where we are staying.

The back garden is just grass and we get a great view of the hospital from the back door.

Mummy is working very hard and daddydaycare is trying to organise plenty of entertainment for us.

Harrisam go back to Ozzie

Well, we survived the long flight back over to Queensland.

An early start (0400hrs) meant that Fairisam just went straight to sleep on the aeroplane

Harricane wanted to explore everything first before his snooze.

Then he woke up demanding entertainment and nourishment from the Cruise Director/Catering Manager.

We cleared customs without a hitch and then rented a car at Brisbane and headed north.......

First stop, of course, was Australia Zoo........

So that Harrisam could revisit old haunts.....

Feed the animals.......

Introduce Harricane to Fairisam's favourite snake......

Meet the new tigers.......

Take a spin in the teacup ride.......

And play on the bouncy castle......

From Australia Zoo it was a long drive north through Gympie and onto Hervey Bay.

Next stop on the epic journey was Aunty Miriam and Uncle Chris's place.

A chance to catch up with the cousins and eat them out of house and home.

Harricane was given the task of finishing the jar of peanut butter..........

Harrisam go on a road trip

Finally the weather just north of Antarctica has got too cold for Daddydaycare et al and the family are back off on another Aussie adventure. Same s##t, different location from last winter.

First leg of the epic journey was to drive to Christchurch via Uncle Naccie and Aunty Lisa's farm in Timaru. Most exciting events..........

Next day was a bit of computer work in Uncle Nathan's office.....







Had to ring the help desk in the States a couple of times to find out why Silent Hunter kept crashing.

They reckon that the disc must have been damaged when Harricane put it in the washing machine. Sorry about that Uncle Nathan.

Harrisam goes to Playgym

Yesterday Harrisam was busy getting their haircut and couldn't make it to playgym.

So they went along to Tuesday's drop-in-gym instead.

Fairisam was a bit tired after a late night at Jess's place but Harricane was keen to blow off a bit of steam.......and pose for the camera.
