Santa Claus is coming to town .....

Today was the Santa Parade here in the deep south.....

The day dawned bright and sunny......

But, typically, it didn't last .........

Though that didn't dampen the excitement

for one little fairy......

All the basics covered ......

bikes ........................................... noisy bikes ......

trains ......................................... tractors .........

Boats..........................................cars ....

Bob

Fairisam turns 4

On Saturday, we celebrated with Jess as she will be away in Ireland for her birthday.

Birthday party food and, of course, obligitary chocolate mudcake (see Harricane's birthday for recipe) made and decorated by TCM. Her philosophy is to keep the cake simple else you just have to outdo yourself next year.......

Then on Wednesday, the big day dawned ..... more bouncing around than tigger on a windy day ..... playgym in the morning ..... kindy in the afternoon .... then off to Nana and Grandad DR's for dinner and the traditional Mills' family pavlova. This year, it was rumoured to have been made by Grandad DR under strict supervision from Nana.

Overhaulin'

It started with a good solid box..............

Initially it had a door and was "a house"........

Then it turned into a car with a side window......

Then it got wheels (that can occasionally fall off) and wing mirrors.......

Then it got a front window screen...........
And lastly it got a new paint job courtesy of Harri-foose-cane

Hey, what a sweet ride now.

The 4th Birthday Party

Fairisam is nearly four - so its time for the antenatal coffee group to have a big get-together.

This year it was at Harrisam's place.

We started with a treasure hunt....

then afternoon tea......

followed by a pinata cake .....

Staunton, as the only boy present, had the honours of breaking it open.

Then they rode their bikes and played in the new sandpit.....

before finishing with a lollyscramble
